Advice for dating musicians percentage of black women dating white men
I had to call it off because he travelled all over Canada alot and I didn't have enough trust built up for that. We still remain friends though and I am happy for his success.I can understand that a relationship/dating wouldn't work if you were playing out all the time or on the road...
But if you’re just doing it for fun, it shouldn't be that difficult to maintain a good relationship... Allgood I'm thinkin this is just some lame a$$ed excuse not to date you.
I am wondering if I should take that part out of my profile... People have all sorts of interests including music and for her to say she won't date you because you're a drummer sounds fishy.
I quess these woman don't know that studio musicans make between 100 to 1500.00 per song sometimes as short as an hours work. Bill Hmmmmmmmmm - no dates because you are a musician???
LOL - I am caught in the same trap here - I am a musician and also a DJ/Karaoke DJ as well - I do spend a lot of time behind either a DJ booth or sound mixing board - I come to work by myself and leave by myself - even though I am single and available I am typecast all the time - seems like no one (female) would like to get closer to me - seems like work is always in the way for them - I am on a different time schedule than most people but am willing to give more time than most people with a 40/hr job - I do have 2 nites off per week that are spent usually at home chilling out - I would love nothing more than being able to take a lady to lunch and being able to spend time with her - but again, because I am a musician, I am typecast as high maintenance, egocentric, dull attitude, etc, etc, etc - c'mon ladies - give us a chance - you might just find a real person that is honest, caring, faithful - what do you think???
I think most women want to be the persued object (and even just a little) the band thing juxtaposes that.
There’s something about being close to a creative powerhouse that’s incredibly sexy, especially if they’re a hyper-intelligent pan-sexual being from the planet Phwoarrr like all the very best pop stars are. The number of musicians making a living from music is vanishingly small and, as the musicians union reports, ‘half of musicians have no regular employment whatsoever’. No matter how weird or unusual-looking your partner is, some strangers will want to s**g them purely because they’re a musician. But that doesn’t mean dating a musician is a good idea, especially if that musician is playing pubs. While it’s more apparent when the musician’s famous, they’ll still attract attention doing covers at the Dog & Duck. As the partner of a musician, you’ll want to show your support and/or deter groupies. If you’re looking for a golden ticket you might be better off trying to find a Wonka chocolate bar.Refusing to work for The Man and wearing stupid clothes while you wait to become a pop star is fun when you’re in your twenties, but if you’re still waiting to be discovered in your forties it’s time to get a haircut and pack the spandex trousers away. While some musicians are alright with dating non-musicians, they still want to date somebody who respects their music and finds it interesting to talk about.Furthermore, I only play out a few times a month, so it’s not like it’s a daily routine… the one thing I can think of is that to alot of musicians, music comes first.Tags: Adult Dating, affair dating, sex dating
